50+ Work Options - Glasgow Research Project

Are you in work, 50+ and thinking about your future work options?

Make a difference and take part in our research. Can you answer YES to the following?

• Do you live in Glasgow?
• Are you approaching, or over 50 years of age?
• Do you work for an Employer?

If so then we need your help...

Shaw Trust in Glasgow is taking part in a national research project to find out how people like you access work related information.

Working in partnership with DWP we want to speak to you about how you would go about finding and accessing information about work related topics. This could be subjects related to your pay, working conditions, retirement options, healthcare, healthy living etc.

The findings of the research will help to inform ideas about future developments help mature workers make informed decisions about their working lives.

So what is involved?

If you've answered YES to our questions, all we need is a little of your time to complete a face to face research interview with our Work Options Officer.

We'll meet you at a time and place that is mutually convenient.

What will I be asked?

This is a research project to identify ways in which you would normally access information – You may have questions about: Work Options, Money Matters, Caring Responsibilities, Pension Schemes. Would you know how or where to find information about these subjects?

I don't want my personal details to be shared.

All information will be held in strict confidence and will not be 'passed on' to marketing companies. Any answers you give will not be shared with your employer.

Calling All Employers!

Would you be willing to allow us to meet and talk with your workforce? We'd like to make your workforce aware of our research project by either including written information in your internal mail, via your Intranet or by presenting to groups of employees during the working day - at a time which is convenient to you.

Your help would be much appreciated.
