Additional assessments

In addition to a structured interview, you may be asked to complete additional assessments depending on the requirements of the role.

You will be informed in advance of the types of exercises to expect and whether or not you need to prepare or complete anything in advance. 
 
Written exercise 
this could include a response to a scenario

In tray exercise
this is a realistic exercise based on a typical task you would undertake in the role

Group exercise
this will show your team working, influencing and communication skills

Presentation 
usually you will be given a brief and time to prepare on the day, rather than preparing in advance

Aptitude tests
these could include IT assessments, verbal or numerical reasoning. Usually these are completed online in advance of attending. If you don’t have internet access, alternative arrangements will be made

Personality profile 
for senior management roles you will be asked to complete a 16PF questionnaire.
