Charity doors open for young peoples job fair

National employment charity Shaw Trust is to hold a careers fair for 16-24 year olds in North Hampshire to mark National Apprenticeships Week (6-10 February 2012).The event , held in conjunction with Basingstoke Job Centre Plus, will be at Shaw Trust's offices, at Copenhagen Court, 32 New Street, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 7DT, between 10am and 3pm on Wednesday 8 February. Attendees will be able to find out more about careers and skills, including talking to employers, providers of apprenticeships and other training.
Shaw Trust provides services in North Hampshire to 16-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). Project manager Rebecca Jaap said: "It's widely acknowledged that a vital part of the economic recovery we all want to see is in improving job and career prospects for young people. As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Shaw Trust is putting on this event to enable young people in North Hampshire to find out more about what's on offer and how we can help them into training or employment"
