Clamp Hill horticulture project

Veolia Water Community Investment Fund is the charitable arm of the water company who pay Clamp Hill’s water bill. Clamp Hill recently put in an application to receive a water harvesting grant to have better watering and harvesting systems for their horticulture site at Clamp Hill. The grant was successful and they will commence the installation of water butts with pumps to feed their overhead watering system on their lower field and to water their vegetable crops with rain water. This was done with the view of helping the environment and reducing their bills and water wastage.
