Drug and Alcohol project - Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham

Shaw Trust has two projects supporting people who aren't working because of drug and alcohol misuse covering Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham boroughs.

One of the projects is Shaw Trust Drug and Alcohol project, the other is Progress 2 Work (P2W).

Both are voluntary, flexible and confidential. We support people to move into employment at their own pace.

We offer:

  • help to find a job
  • work tasters and trials
  • access to training courses
  • help with writing your CV
  • help to improve your confidence
  • information about benefits
  • support for you to understand when and how to declare convictions
  • access to information about debt and accommodation.

We have five personal advisers supporting people on P2W and one personal adviser and a support officer on our Drug and Alcohol project.

We work with other organisations so people get the support they need

Many people also experience depression, anxiety or other forms of mental ill health, but we can support you to find work whatever your situation..

We can help you find new meaning to life, access training courses that suit you and improve your quality of life.

Why not contact us to find out what we can do for you?
