Horticultural Trainer Therapist

Reference: V1950

We are currently recruiting for a Horticultural Trainer Therapist to provide, within a horticultural setting, a structured learning environment for service users identifying their key strengths, assessing their potential, planning and delivering work related and core skills training and assisting them where possible to progress into suitable employment or other appropriate placements in the community.

The main duties of the role will be to develop and provide a structured learning environment to service users involving assessment, identifying key strengths, action/goal planning etc and to plan and deliver practical training in horticultural skills. The post holder will promote a creative flexible working environment for clients so that they develop core personal skills (e.g. time keeping, communication, presentation).
The successful candidate will hold a level 3 horticultural qualification in Training and Development or have equivalent industrial experience. Experience of managing/supervising staff and financial planning/awareness is essential.

You will be innovative and able to develop services to be a commercial success with good self motivation with organisational skills.

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Full time 36.5 hours over 7 days
