Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) Programme
The ILM programme offers you the opportunity to find employment through a flexible package of support. The programme is offered over four days work experience and a day of training over 26 weeks. The programme format can be adapted to suit your individual needs and part time hours may also be available.Whilst you attend the programme you will be employed by Shaw Trust and will be paid a wage.
What support is available?
- Better off In Work Calculations to show how financially, you could benefit from being in work
- access to short courses e.g. IT training and 'Skills for Life'
- access free job specific training
- ILM placements are arranged to suit your skills and experience
- support with pre-employment and job search activities such as:
- help to fill out application forms
- effective interview techniques
- writing an up-to-date CV
- providing a work mentor where necessary
- continued In-work support
Who is eligible?
The ILM Programme is open to people that have been claiming benefits for more than 12 months where their disability or health condition is a barrier to finding employment.
