Chief Executive Officer, Sally Burton

Sally Burton joined Shaw Trust in November 2009, bringing a fresh leadership approach and a wealth of experience. Sally joins us from Solihull NHS Care Trust, where she was their first Chief Executive. She has over 25 years experience working in the public sector and her previous experience includes 12 years in social services and four years with the Department of Health.

Sally worked as Head of Older Peoples Services for Coventry City Council where she was part of the team that improved adult services from special measures to three stars. Her experience includes creating social enterprises, partnership working across sectors, change management, and leading organisations with complex governance and performance systems.
