Local Employer - Emerald Gardens Land Designers

Emerald Gardens boss Tim McNally never turns job-hunters away whatever their background as he knows how it feels to be desperate to work. Tim battled addiction and with the help of Shaw Trust turned his life around and has now built up a thriving business whilst also helping others get back on track.

Tim picked up the Local Employer National STAR Award and said, "This national award is a fantastic honour, but I couldn't have achieved it without the outstanding efforts of the guys who work for me. It is their hard work that has made the business a success as well as being the incentive that helps them turn their own lives around," he said.

Emerald Gardens Land Designers has flourished with the help of employees who are struggling to shake off a history of drug and alcohol abuse and Tim has already found work p;acements for more than ten people and permanent employment for many of them since he began three years ago.
