Managing and Training Personal Assistants

When you employ someone using Direct Payments you, like all other employers, have a legal duty to provide training for example training for health and safety awareness, moving and handling.

If you don't provide training your employer's liability insurance may be invalid if you have to make a claim.

All records of training given to your personal assistant must be kept and training regularly updated.
