MP opens new shop and office in Neath

MP for Neath, Peter Hain opened disability employment charity Shaw Trust’s joint Work Choice office and charity shop in Neath on Friday 20 January.

On his visit, Mr Hain met with Work Choice staff and clients, speaking to them about the barriers disabled people face in finding employment and independence. He learnt how Shaw Trust works in Neath and across Wales helping thousands of disabled and disadvantaged people find work every year.

Mr Hain said: “Shaw Trust are doing fantastic work supporting disabled people into work and helping them acquire the necessary skills. The dedicated staff give hope and opportunity for disabled people... It is really good news that Shaw Trust has opened a drop-in centre in the heart of Neath”
