Summary

Shaw Trust has recently been appointed to provide support services to a number of Local Involvement Networks (LINks), promoting and supporting the involvement of local people in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of health and social care services

£23,669 - £26,294 pro rata, Flexible Benefits allowance £3675
As a Community Development Officer, you will facilitate activities across the district, encouraging participating through regular outreach work and use of media. You will identify local social care needs through networking throughout the community and develop robust communication between government bodies, community organisations and other stakeholders. You'll be extremely well organised with the ability to persuade and influence at all levels.Flexibility to undertake occasional evening / weekend work and frequent travel is required
