Summary

Shaw Trust, the UK's leading voluntary sector provider of employment related services for disabled people is launching a new range of services that will enable individuals to retain employment when that might otherwise be threatened by the onset of disability or ill health. This expansion has created an exciting opportunity for a Director to lead the development and ongoing delivery of the new Health and Wellbeing services.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director of the Work and Independence Directorate, your main duties will include:

About You:

You will be a commercially focused, entrepreneurial individual with senior management experience in vocational services, rehabilitation or occupational health. You will have a proven track record in leading successful commercial activities, taking full accoutability for delivering financial and customer service objectives. You will be able to demonstrate experience of winning and delivering contracts, ideally including public sector tendering. You will also be able to understand how to assess and manage clinical as well as business risk. Your leadership, vision and first rate communication skills will inspire your team to maximise opportunities and ensure the success of this new service.

Location is flexible - the successful candidate will be expected to attend our Chippenham head office on a regular basis.

Salary £74,095 to £82,328 plus benefits, bonus and car package
