Work-related advice, support and training to aid progress towards paid employment, self-employment and further education.
For disabled and disadvantaged groups in the St Helens area, including:
- Residents affected by mental ill health or who have a learning disability
- Residents of NRF areas
- Residents of Pathways areas
- Day centre service clients
Training is delivered by friendly, qualified staff, on a one to one basis or in small groups, allowing each client to progress at their own pace and overcome potential barriers to work. Training opportunities include:
- Job search and job applications
- Vocational profiling
- Work preparation programmes
- Voluntary work
- Vocational qualifications: First aid, Food hygiene, Health & safety
- ICT training and qualifications
- Learndirect training
- Travel training
- Confidence building
- Personal development training
