Donate your unwanted work clothes to Shaw Trust and help thousands of people become 'fit for work'
'What do you do for a living?' For many people our job is a defining part of who we are. Getting a job can be tough for anyone, but for the 50,000 people Shaw Trust supports each year it is a daily struggle to overcome discrimination, lack of understanding, isolation, lack of self belief, as well as travel, language and cultural barriers.
For these people, having a job means moving from a place of exclusion to inclusion, from poverty of choice and lack of control to independence and stability.
Shaw Trust runs projects all over the UK empowering thousands of people to achieve their full potential, find a job and turn their life around. However, they need money to keep running and keep on making a difference.
That's where you come in. By organising a clothes collection in your company and encouraging your colleagues to donate their unwanted work clothes you will be supporting our 32 retail shops across the south of the UK, to raise all important funds from the sale of your clothes, so that Shaw Trust can carry on supporting 50,000 people a year, and more….
By simply emailing us at fit4work@shaw-trust.org.uk a member of our fundraising team will be in touch with you to provide you with further information and support and collecting bins or hanging rails, event posters and information leaflets.
Once you've collected all the clothes, we'll come and pick them up and do the rest - It really is that simple!
By deciding what not to wear to work this season you can make a massive difference to someone's future!
All the profit from the sale of donated goods in our retail shops gets ploughed back into the work Shaw Trust does supporting thousands of people turn their lives around.
