Positive Trasformation Award - Dylan Evans

Two years ago Dylan was on the verge of being excluded from school for his behavioural problems but now he is a different person.

He has collected a string of accredited training qualifications, is focused and motivated, has enrolled on a college course to qualify as a painter and decorator and knows he owes much of it to his Development Officer Karen and the team.

On winning his Individual Achievement Award Dylan said, "I didn't plan a speech because I didn't think I would win. I was lost for words. I just said thanks a lot. I wanted to thank Shaw Trust because if it weren't for them I'd probably be sitting at home on the dole with nothing to look forward to."
