Purchasers of Shaw Trust Young People’s Services can simply choose the core service or can add a number of optional services to enhance and compliment their young peoples’ package.

Core Service:
  • Referral and consent
  • Assessment and profiling
  • Individual Learning Planning
  • Work Preparation
  • Work Taster Days
  • Extended Work Placement opportunities in chosen vocational area
  • Supported transition from school to college/training/work

Services can be delivered via two different methodologies:
  • on school/provider sites; or
  • on an outreach basis
  • onsite provision in some areas

In addition, a range of specialist services are available for purchase:
  • services for younger people aged 8 - 14 years;
  • transition services for people aged 16 - 25 years; and
  • statutory work experience co-ordination services
  • personal development
  • independent living skills
  • travel support
  • accredited or motivational training e.g. OCR Work Preparation
