Sow a Seed of Change with Shaw Trust Horticulture

Shaw Trust's horticultural projects, like the one in Salisbury where the wreath featured on this year's Christmas card was made, use gardening, grounds maintenance and tailored support to help those people who need us to thrive.
We've recently raised £15,000 to carry out emergency repairs to our building at Shaw Trust Salisbury. However all of our horticultural projects still need your support to be able to introduce new activities, from making pottery to growing poinsettia, and offer even more support to help disabled and disadvantaged people to grow their skills and confidence.
There are lots of ways you can help Shaw Trust from donating, organising a collection with your friends or colleagues, taking part in a fundraising event or volunteering at a project. Whatever you do will make a big difference to people’s lives, helping them to bloom.
Steve, who has a learning disability, told us why he comes to the project, "I used to work in an Italian restaurant which closed because of bankruptsy. I love it here, it’s like a little family for me."
You can make a donation right now by following the link, or how about doing something else amazing to get involved? You could;
- Organise a sponsored seed planting
- Arrange a collection at your work or place of worship
- Do a Parachute jump
- Put your ability to work, whatever it is
Please call 01225 716300 or email fundraising@shaw-trust.org.uk, for more information. Help give disabled and disadvantaged people the tools to change their lives.
