Specialist Adviser

Location: Office based (covering Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire)

We are currently recruiting for a Specialist Adviser to work with a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of high quality condition management services, using cognitive behavioral therapy type approaches to clients. The post-holder will carry out duties consistent with operational aims and objectives in a manner which will maintain Shaw Trust’s excellent reputation and values. The post will be office based and will require travel between Shaw Trust Offices within a District.

The post holder will report to the District Manager (Employment) and the Clinical Services Development Manager.

The main duties will include providing case management, which is included as part of that the Condition Management Programme (CMP). The post holder will work within service-level agreement/s and agreed time frames and liaise with employment and local health & social support networks to provide additional or alternative support to the client.

Duties will also include being accountable for own professional actions, uses professional judgement and makes efficient use of resources available. And to provide clear, concise assessment reports with recommended client action plans/goals, in liaison with the Employment Adviser.

The ideal candidate will have relevant Condition Management and insurance/vocational work experience, evidenced by full CV and professional references; practical experience in accessing external support services and has relevant networking skills, and working knowledge of the health and social benefits and allowances system.

The salary offered for the successful candidate will depend on personal qualifications. The salary will either be:

Level 1: £24638.64 - £27376.27 per annum
Level 2: £30139.52 - £33488.13 per annum
