Help to stay in work
Shaw Trust offers a service that is designed to support people who may be in danger of losing their job due to the fact that they have developed a health problem. We enable people to work effectively by identifying their needs and providing support tailored to their individual requirements.
We remain totally independent whilst working closely with you and your employer and can support you to stay in work.
We can help you with:
- an individual development and support plan to maximise your potential
- job tasters and work experience
- access to learning, training and job coaching if necessary
- discussing job re-structuring or redeployment with your employer
- guidance on benefits
- advice on 'Access to Work' funding and support for workplace modifications or equipment
- appropriate training for your managers and colleagues to support your needs in the workplace
