Ways2Work For All Service
Shaw Trust and Essex County Council are working together to deliver practical support to people wanting to improve their lifestyle and improve their employment potential. Enabling us to offer increased employability skills to 106 people from disadvantaged groups through delivery of motivational training, volunteering qualifications and work focussed action planning.Shaw Trust will deliver a programme of accredited learning for employability targeted at people under-represented in the labour market including lone parents, people with disabilities, people with mental health issues and older people. The service will be flexible & person-focused to support participants at all stages of their journey towards employment/voluntary activity, including confidence building, skills development & formal qualifications to enhance employability skills.
Shaw Trust will support you to develop a personal training plan and create an individual pathway for you to achieve your personal goals. We will monitor your progress and conduct regular reviews to ensure the service is meeting your needs and that you are progressing with your personal plan.
The project offers:
• Confidential one-to-one meetings to help identify and develop work focused action planning.
• Support to identify and remove barriers to employment.
• Increase confidence and self esteem.
• Ongoing practical individual support.
• Information and advice.
• ‘GOALS’ motivational programme.
• Placement programme.
• Back to work skills programme.
• Open College Network (OCN) Accredited programmes.
We will be delivering our accredited programmes in the following locations Basildon, Chelmsford, Colchester, Harlow, Braintree, Witham and Tendring.
