Shaw Trust, national charity and the experts in pan disabilities web access and CDSM, one of the UK's leading web accessibility consultants are offering on-site training for web teams that need to gain a better understanding of the complex issue of web accessibility and the laws that govern it.

Following the workshop, your team will have a clear understanding of how web access makes good business sense, and everything you need to know about the legal requirements for web accessibility.

Whats included?

Topics covered in the training session include:
  • PAS78 - Guide to good practice in commissioning accessible websites - A walk through PAS78

  • How to build, manage and maintain an accessible web site
  • How people with disabilities use websites
  • How to spot accessibility errors on your website
  • How to make PDF documents accessible

A Unique Experience

As part of the training seminar we provide you with an overview of assistive technologies. Also each delegate will experience actual hands-on use of assistive software combined with video demonstrations and a snapshot live assessment of your website.
