#canyouhandleIT?
In Partnership with BT, hosted by Shaw Trust
Wed 3 to Fri 5th, July 2019, BT Adastral Park,  http://atadastral.co.uk/

3 days, over 50 disabled young people, all competing for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the UK at the Global IT Challenge

The UK IT Challenge is a 3 day, jam packed event where teams of disabled young people from all across the United Kingdom compete on a variety of IT challenges to test ability, creativity and skill using different computer programmes. Challenges range from designing a poster in PowerPoint, retrieving specific information from the internet and showing off your ability in excel.

Also included in the event is a fantastic guided tour around BT’s Atadastral Park (atadastral.co.uk), where world leading innovation in IT is happening, right now! From pioneering work in optical technologies to digital switching, through to advancements in software engineering. It is globally recognised as today’s gateway to a world of possibilities.

The UK IT Challenge for Disabled Young People is part of the international Global IT Challenge of Youth with Disabilities designed to reduce the 'digital disability divide' and provide increased access and investment in ICT, to help promote IT policy and training and create a truly inclusive world where no-one is left behind.
