Shaw Trust works with a range of commissioners to deliver services that support communities to thrive. Commissioners not only receive a high quality service, but also added value from Shaw Trust’s reinvestment in the communities where we work. A good example is our investment in social enterprises.
Commitment to innovation
Shaw Trust is committed to innovation, and has experience of designing and evaluating pilots to test new ideas and enhance its service delivery. As well as delivering crucial local services, we work with commissioners to design pilots which help transform more lives in the communities where we work.
Shaw Trust is a national employment, learning and skills charity dedicated to transforming lives in the communities where we work. The charity was formed in 1982 in the village of Shaw in Wiltshire to support local disabled people in the community to find employment.
We deliver services for a range of government departments, including the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), as well as at the community level for a range of local authorities.
