Shaw Trust's Investment in Innovative Research

Shaw Trust Policy Institute

The Shaw Trust Policy Institute is an exciting new way of doing policy at Shaw Trust. The work of the Policy Institute will focus on collaborations with researchers, academics and think tanks to explore new innovative new policy ideas around employment, health and the future of the charity sector. Over the next twelve months we will be launching a series of research papers and policy reports, including a report exploring employers’ attitudes towards mental ill health and a report looking at the charity sector’s relationship with the government.

Our first report is a collection of essays focused on transforming employment for disabled people and those with health conditions. This is a collaboration between the Shaw Trust Policy Institute and the Learning and Work Institute. You can read the research at http://www.learningandwork.org.uk/opportunity-for-all/ (opens in new tab or window)
